evlgaming.com has been running game servers since it’s beginnings in January 2010, and were early adopters of minecraft, with most of it’s staff losing many hours of sleep due to mining, creeper hunting, and in game shenanigans.

We provide instant setup for our minecraft hosting, with servers installing typically in 2-3 minutes after your payment comes in.
Control the way you want!
Many providers use typically game server panels that were made to operate your typical game servers (TF2, DoD:S, CS:S etc.) not made to run minecraft! Our panel has been created for minecraft, and has been heavily customized by our own staff. It is also split up and run on multiple systems within each location, to provide a fast loading, and responsive panel. No need to wait more than a few seconds to stop/start or edit your server.
Bukkit FTW
All of our servers are loaded by default with the latest recommended build of bukkit. Though, if you wish to use other jar files we have a few to chose from, and it’s easy to switch them with just a few clicks via the control panel.
Support when you need it!
Our support staff are always near an internet available phones when they’re not next to a computer, so you can rest assured that your questions will be answered quickly. Our typical response time is under 30 minutes! All of our staff are required to maintain their own minecraft server, and thus have tons of experience with the latest and greatest plugins, and can help you configure issues with them, or recommend a plugin that does what you want it to do! (Keep in mind, your server is unmanaged, so we don’t install plugins for you, but we we will help you troubleshoot problems with them if you come across issues!)
A solid foundation
EVL Gaming is owned by a group of private investors, and is managed by IT professionals, with many different types of experience. That being said, we have built all of our servers from scratch using the latest Intel Xeon sandybridge processors, supermicro components, and Kingston premium server ram, We own our own hardware, not rent (like most providers do) and don’t have to worry about shady components being used in our systems. You may have a nice processor, but what’s connected to the processor is just as important!
No overselling!
For best performance, and to lower costs we decided to make our systems low density. Only one powerful Xeon Sandybridge CPU per system, and only 16gb of ram. Why? We may be able to build dual cpu platforms, with buckets of ram, but even on dense systems minecraft can have performance decreases on systems running more minecraft servers! Our average cpu on our fullest system is 50% meaning if a customer spikes cpu usage, it won’t degrade performance on other customers. Lower density, lower power requirements, it just makes sense!
Drop in plugins to your hearts content!
Many providers block the ability to upload plugins and have a limited library for you to use, or no plugin support at all! Typically that shows that a company doesn’t know how to setup an FTP server, or the company does not run security, or anti virus software on their systems. At evlgaming, we know how to do those things! Our servers scan all incoming files for virus’s so you can rest easy knowing you can upload your plugins, and other customers attempting to upload harmful virus’s won’t cause any damage to our systems.
Continuous data protection!
We utilize R1Soft offsite backups for round the clock protection of your servers. Servers with 512mb of ram or more get free backups that run twice daily, but if you need more backup times (such as every 8, 6, and 4 hours) you can add that on for just a few dollars. Griefing and accidents happen, and we’ve got your back!

We sell our servers based on how many resources you need, and our smallest package starts at 192mb for just $3/mo and go up to 2gb of ram for just $45/mo

EVL gaming is the best host Ive used out of the 3 Ive been a client to. I run a relatively small server, for myself and a few close friends. I have had to my personal knowledge no downtime, and for all of my users out of thirteen only one has ever complained about lag. The support is amazing, not only did I barely wait at all for them, they waited for me as well when my browser crashed. As it stands Ill be keeping my current and possible future business with them. Props to the lad who helped me get the latest snapshot.

When I was first going to buy my server, I couldn’t find where on the website. After I bought it, I didn’t know where to find the editing area, then I checked my email and it was all good. After that it was GREAT! My server never lagged, it was easy to edit, and when I was confused. I got help really fast. I love EVL~

Hi!
I used EVL Gaming to host a server for me and my friends to play on a while back and it was great while it was up. Nearly instant setup time and great support. We had a mishap with our server properties and they had them fixed within a few minutes of reporting the issue. The price was great for what we were looking for really cheap dedicated server and they didn’t skimp on the performance to. Little to no lag without much stutter or block lag. As for uptime and website there was not a single problem at all since the server’s are up 24/7 and they’re website looks like it was done by a pro. Overall a great service if your are looking to rent a server.

Never had any problems with EVL. The staff is always very friendly, supportive, and easy to work with. As far as hosts go, they are by the far the most reliable providers I have worked with.
Servers are lag free and downtime is minimal. EVL is also very good about keeping their customers informed about any upcoming downtime with time estimates of how long they’ll be down for and giving a reason to accompany it.
I’d recommend EVL to anyone who’s looking for an easy, reliable host.

I think EVL is an amazing host, And Affordable
I have recently bought a server from them and it’s running perfectly fine!
I have recently had a few issue (My fault not EVL) Such as (Me Putting To Much Plugins)
And The Support I received was amazing!
It was sorted out in 1-2 mins
It doesn’t End There…
The Staff Are Also Friendly And Will Listen To You If you have an issue
I have only been playing mine craft for 3-4 Month And I Have A successfull server because of EVL
. I would Recommend EVL Gaming To ANYONE!

EVLgaming is not a good host. The server I rented, a 512 MB 15 slotter, was extremely laggy most of the time, with ping times of over 750ms. The price is extremely high, at $15 a month. I recently switched to Avante, and they are amazing! I got 256MB more RAM, 1 more slot, and a dedicated IP for $13 a month. EVLgaming’s website is difficult to navigate and it is not easy for first-timers to find their way around. Avante’s website is neat and very easy to navigate. With 2 clicks I am in the control panel. The Uptime was also sub-par. I was warned about downtime only about 10-15 minutes before it happened and my uptime was about 85-90%, much less than I would expect from ANY host. Support was horrendous, my tickets took weeks to get answered and I had to contact support via Email to get a response. Please DO NOT choose EVLGaming.

We are based in the United States, not out of China. Your address was listed in China, so I imagine ping time could be quite bad. However the three tickets you had opened with us on average were resolved in 4-5 hours as they were opened later at night (2-3am). The longest ticket response from us was a ticket from 11/20/2011 02:22, and we answered at 11/20/2011 08:35.
The downtime was caused by out of memory errors. You were running 31 plugins, with 12 worlds. You never contacted us about this issue either, which we could have pointed out to you quite quickly.
I do apologize for the 20-30 mintues of control panel downtime we had during Novebmer, but stating that we do not answer our tickets for weeks is an extreme exaggeration. Please have a look at ticket #627712, you’ll notice our reply time was not weeks.

I Am really liking this host. I previously was with another host that was no help to me and didn’t offer any support.
I decided to go with there reasonably priced VPS service The Price was great.
When I ordered the service I made a mistake they emailed me what mistake I made and offered to fix it quickly for me and are always prompt with their responses I would recommend this host
