Well, frankly speaking, DaddyCheese is not the best Minecraft server that I have been used, but it is the most valuable among all. The support team is helpful and friendly. Till now have not experience any kind of latency (for 3 months usage).
Overall, I am satisfied with their service.

Well my buisness with them was short.
Support is friendly and all is good but i better take angry support that gets the job done in an hour than merry support that gets the job done in a day or two.
I can’t judge the US servers but the support on EU servers is slow at it’s best and server stability is dodgy. If a server crashes after triggering a save-all command to do backup and fails to start up again and the resulting ticket is not answered for close to 8 hours it is not quality support. Basically if something with your server happens during the day (in GMT+0 time) then you wont get help till like 17:00-19:00 (same GMT+0)

After clicking around for a while on bestminecrafthosts I decided to go with daddycheese… I am not sure as to why but in hindsight it was probably the name.
When I was about to go register I found myself looking at the website and second guessing myself, it seemed a little TOO friendly and cartoony but on a whim I went for it, the server was setup no problem.
The Support Team (Marc helped ALOT) was snappy (time not attitude) and very helpful, price not bad, uptime decent but god damn that gui can be a right pain! Fiddly would be the word i’d use to describe it… But then that’s multicraft not daddycheese.
Overall: I’ll be stickin around with them for a while

My hosting need is to maintain a ~1GB Bukkit server for my kids and their friends to play mutiplayer over the internet. DaddyCheese is the third host I have used during a roughly two-year period.
Setup & Billing
Their setup was fast. Their billing is a little clunky, but nothing major – no automated invoice-payment options, so I have to manually pay each one as they arrive.
Multicraft Control Panel
They use Multicraft for control panel, and I find it to function better than McMyAdmin, although it’s worth noting that no Minecraft CP seems to offer much beyond very basic administrative control over your instance of the game.
Server Performance
Performance is uneven. With ~1GB of supposedly dedicated RAM, we frequently experience severe performance issues – rendering the game unplayable – with only 2 players logged in at once. We’ve tried reverting to a vanilla installation, but that has provided little relief. Occasionally, though, I’ll get an email that an entire node at DaddyCheese was experiencing issues and has been repaired, and after those emails, performance seems better for a time before declining again.
Uptime
Uptime is decent, but not perfect. No webhost is perfect, and Minecraft is unstable enough that I don’t expect 100% uptime.
Support
This is where DaddyCheese suffers, although they’re still better than previous hosts I’ve tried. The sad truth is that insufficient, slow, and unhelpful “support” just seems to be the industry standard. And while the DaddyCheese staff members are always pleasant and polite, they are largely unhelpful. Specifically, I routinely wait one or two *days* for a response to a new ticket, and most responses are boilerplate non-answers. When pressed to look further into an issue, the staff seems to lack the technical knowledge to produce better answers than the boilerplate, and give suggestions along the lines of, “Maybe try not using Bukkit” – an astonishing suggestion, considering that “using Bukkit” is the reason they have me as a customer.
Summary
If there’s a truly GOOD Minecraft host out there, I have yet to find it. DaddyCheese, lamentably (or thankfully, depending on your tolerance for mediocrity), is the least bad host I’ve found so far.

DaddyCheese is a very great service. I had a server up for almost two months, but my own budget forced me to have it shut down. However, their price is still very amazing, considering the quality. I rarely received “in-minutes” ticket replies, but I always got a reply within an hour or so. That’s pretty darn fast, in my opinion. And when I had to have my server shut down, they even refunded my last payment, which is a really big help on my end. I didn’t even ask for a refund, but they did it anyways.
To be more in-depth, I did experience some lag, but it was not daddycheese’s fault. I didn’t purchase enough RAM for the server. I did open a support ticket about it, and they helped me to diagnose the problem very quickly. The Multicraft console was a bit slow, but I found out that was because I had minecraft open while using the console. After closing minecraft it was immediately faster.
All in all, daddycheese is an amazing minecraft hosting company, and I recommend them to anyone. For most companies you get what you pay for, but in this case, you get more for what you pay.

I have to admit; When i first stumbled over the DaddyCheese webpage i was very suspicious. There were a lot of unfinished things and barely any company information on the site… but i was all the more suprised when i got myself to try my luck with them. The server is as fast as it can possibly be, the support is nice and fast and i barely had any problems with them. The only thing i can think of was a few problems with the Multicraft panel but it’s barely worth mentioning. You get practically everything, even though it may not be available by default but one just needs to ask for it and you get it, and there’s only one thing i can think of i’d like to have there. A function that allows one to set up automated daily backups. There’S a function to shedule backups but you have to set it up every day or do it manually with a click… unless i do something wrong. Other than that… thank you DaddyCheese! I’ll definitely stay with you and i can only recomment them to anyone who’s looking for a Minecraft server.

Daddycheese is a great company in terms of affordability, service and plugin support for starting servers. Unfortunately, that is where it ends. We started out with a simple 2GB server for our growing community, but as we grew we found ourselves with miserable processor power, and occurances of 1-4 day downtimes that slaughtered our player base with a diamond ax. Sure they refunded us, but that didn’t change the fact that we were paying for a server that may or may not be online that day.

I’m from america and this company is great! I was with them for not even a day and I got more uptime then when I was with “MCProHosting”. I love this my friend from Honduras has a bad connection, but he can live with it. I’m pretty sure if I switch to the 48 player plan my friend won’t have any lag at all. It doesn’t crash at all while I drag and drop stuff over the FTP and I don’t wake up randomly at night with it saying my server is up when nobody can connect. The website is kinda cheap looking, but hey it doesn’t matter about the looks, just the inside.

Grabbed a server a couple weeks ago. Ever since, it just caused problems. The server was constantly spiking to an unbearable 8 TPS. I’ve sent tickets and the responses were pretty quick, which is why I didn’t give their support rating a 1. However, the responses were ridiculous. It was as if they weren’t even reading my ticket. In my last ticket, they gave me what was their last resort to fix the lag. This final solution they offered was something that we had already gone over five times before, each time telling them it does not work.
Overall, unhappy with the service I’ve received here.

Daddycheese offers good packages for a fair price. The connection is good and fast (also for FTP) and the control panel (Multicraft) works like a charm. The reply to tickets at customer support is usually within a few hours.
A downside is that I had many problems with the MySQL server associated with my server. This resulted in my server being down for several days and data that was lost. The customer support was sadly not able to fix this fast enough. At this moment I have again problems with the database.
So to conclude, good value for money (especially in comparison to other hosts) but the MySQL support could be a lot better!

DaddyCheese has been great for these past couple months. We have had no trouble at all. This past week however, the node that we are on has had two hardware failures and during the process of restoring our server files from a backup, it messed up some of the configuration files, rendering some plugins unusable. Their support isn’t 24/7. I submitted a couple tickets and after a certain time period (Usually 6PM CST) we stop getting a response for around 6-7 hours. Other than that, its a great host and is quite affordable.

This is definitely the best minecraft hosting company I have ever used. I have been using a daddycheese server for around 4 months, and NOT ONCE has my server had downtime caused by the company.
One of the most important things is the amazing value (£5 a month for a 12 person server). The support staff are helpful and friendly, and I have never had to wait more than a few hours before they reply.
I can do pretty much whatever I want with the server, as you can use FTP to use plugins, worlds, and custom minecraft.jar files.
All in all, the only (minor) problem that I could find was that the live support chat is usually offline (not much of a problem as the support tickets are replied to very quickly).

I used Daddycheese for a real short time. I was newer at server hosting, and knew i’d never be able to implement any real useful plugins or mods. I couldn’t even figure out how to upload my map. I opened a ticket, and in a few hours my map was up there. They are the best when it comes to support, always friendly and competent. I bet if i were a little more selfish, i could have asked them to so much more and they would. The server was virtually lag free, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this server host.

DaddyCheese is simply awesome.
Our server was hosted elsewhere before and we switched after too many support fails – and we haven’t regretted it once.
They’re really pro, super friendly, and go above and beyond to be helpful. Response time is usually incredibly fast, and they really make the effort to solve our issues, even those that have nothing to do with their service : they helped us configure plugins and really custom-tailored the server to our needs. There is NEVER any lag, and we’ve had ten minutes of downtime (which nobody noticed) because they were performing maintenance on the node – that’s it.

I’ve been with DaddyCheese for five months now and I am relatively satisfied with the service. This was my first time hosting my server outside my own home computer after I was tired of being bugged to turn my computer on for the server all the time. Back to the topic, although I can’t really compare it with any other host, I’ve been so far been satisfied with DaddyCheese.
The Control Panel is quite responsive and the in-web FTP client that comes with it is quite useful for those small edits and fixes I do while I’m on my laptop outside my home.
The performance is relatively excellent. I’ve recently had some lag problems, but within 24 hours of my support ticket submission and a little bit of correspondence, the issue got resolved very quickly.
The pricing is quite cheap, although not the cheapest. You might find cheaper alternatives elsewhere, but you’ll probably get bad quality service off them, which is why I’m still giving DaddyCheese 5 diamonds for this one.
The website is the main part I have gripes with. It’s average at best, and has all the basic things you need to get started. However that’s it. Nothing too special about it and some pages could do with some updating.
The only times my server went down was when I make a mistake and crash the server due to some outdated plugins. It’s almost never the host’s fault. And if you can’t get your server working again, a simple support ticket is all you need for the staff to fix it up for you.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with DaddyCheese and I’ll most likely keep going with them for some time.

One of the best minecraft host out there. Great and understanding support when I required it. Easy to manage with Minecraft control panel. Cheap and good uptime. Their website could however be a little better. They should update their FAQ site and give more information.
However overall I had no trouble with them. I never noticed any downtime or any lag. Easy to start and get a server.

DaddyCheese’s Minecraft hosting is very quick and simple to set-up, has great uptime and if you ask for it allows custom servers.
The price is fantastic and the customer support is probably the best I’ve ever experienced and was a genuinely nice surprise.
My only issue (and it is an extremelt minor on) is that with Noscript (or with Javascript turned off), some parts of the website either don’t work or look out-of-place.
Ignoring that, it’s fantastic.

Well when I first got my server from daddycheese, 360 dollars for one year. It was kinda lagy but it’s probably because the world was being created and the files. But after words my server was up to thirty-six plugins without lag. Also uptime 99.9% amazing and the control panel easy to control. What I found that was amazing was how it only took 13 ms!! long to startup with thirty-six plugins. Another nice thing is unlimted bandwith , storage and With live support. Last thing about daddycheese is it’s great prices.

I have to say DADDYCHEESE IS THE S***, Ive tried the other which i wont mention *cough=SERVER*Cough*CRAFT, Daddycheese had my server up and going in a matter of minutes, only downtime i had was after the 1.2.2 relese, and that was my fault for not updating, which i made a ticket for, and by the time i could go to the fridge and back it was answered by SARA. Ive sent a few more Petty Tickets, which were also answered withing 30 minutes, Pricing is awesome, i even think they sell domain names, tho i couldnt figure out how to navigate to buy them.
Only think i dont like about DADDYCHEESE is they are on PORT 25569 unless you get the $30.00 a mnth deal, Which means anyone going to your server has to put in the port number, I bought a domain not knowing this so i now have to put the port after the domain to connect, I guess it is a money thing.

So lets start off, these guys are very helpful and get back to your support ticket in 4-20 hours which is fast, there ingame preformance is quailty no-lagg with over 20 plugins, love it.i have had this server for about a months now and uptime is about 99.8% that is becasue i take it down for updates! Great service with great support.
I experienced for 2 weeks discontinuous crashes of the server. I asked support to DaddyCheese who was kind and faithful; they restarted the whole hardware node and proposed also to change the machine the server was hosted to solve the problem. At the end, the problem was caused by a broken plugin
Best customer support by far.
The performance also was very good. The server was always on 20 TPS with 20 plugins. I experienced some lagg with DynMap installed.
I truly recommend this host.

The customer service provided by Daddycheese is top notch. Most of the time their replies were incredibly quick, even at weird hours. They stuck with me through the handful of problems I had and worked them out. The price, at about US$16, is absolutely unbeatable.
I highly recommend this provider to anyone looking to host a MC server.
On an unrelated note, the idiot running down this list brainlessly slapping disagrees on everyone’s comment needs to quit it. With 120 positive reviews and only 1 negative for the provider, it’s pretty clear there can’t be that many honest disagreements with the reviews.

I love DaddyCheese, first of all their support is WONDERFUL. I asked them to set up a MySQL database for LogBlock, which I had been struggling with for days, and then set it up in just a few hours! The features aren’t the best, for example I can’t use Spout plugins on my server because I can’t upload Spout due to the 2 MB limit, and I can’t set up another account so my friend can access the control panel without me risking him shutting down the whole server. The performance is great, barely any lag, starting up the server takes mere seconds, even with tons of plugins. The price is quite good, I have 1 GB of dedicated memory, 1-24 reccomended slots, and unlimited bandwidth and storage for only 9.98£ or 15$. Website is good, nice design, and I can make a support ticket in seconds. Uptime is SUPER, I’ve never had a problem with it, the server is up 24/7, unless I stop it for maintenance.

I rented a server here for one month and i have to say that it was an amazing experience. The support was great(i got replies in under 2 min), the performance was amazing(fully modded server with not lag at all). Only had a few problems connecting to the controlpannel but that could have been my internet connection.

After being with one host for a few months and finding that their service kept on going down and the server was lagging a lot even with almost no players on it. I decided to switch and found Daddy cheese from my first inquiries they have been fast, efficient and most of all professional.
The server uses Multicraft control panel which for those not familiar with it is very good and allows a lot of customization with great ease. I am the experimental type and even running a modded server.jar (industrialcraft, buildcraft, etc) the server is still able to cope and this is with only 1gb ram. I can only reiterate what others have said, I have been with DaddyCheese for about a month and in that time they have been excellent. Thier support tickets are answered very quickly, to give you an example, I wanted to use dynmap for my server, i sent them a support ticket and they had set up my dynmap within 3 minutes. DaddyCheese is easily the best MineCraft host I’ve ever used.
The pricing is great, and you definitely get a good return value. I’ve not once had a problem with my server, the update times are good, and the panel is pretty easy to use.
The best thing to mention about DaddyCheese is their support. The few times that I have needed to contact them, my ticket is usally answered within a few minutes, regardless of the query. And this is really, really awesome.
Another example is when the Beta 1.9 prereleases had just come out – DaddyCheese dropped support (due to a bug that was Mojang’s fault) but still offered a full refund for any of their customers that was using that service.
The other points to mention: Their website is pretty nice, the features are aplenty (including FTP and mods and such), and I can’t remember any extended downtime.

These guys are the best! The support is the best I have ever seen on the internet!
The server has many features using the Mutlicraft Panel and its easy to set up a Bukkit server and go!
The server has near to no lag at all and the restart time are amazingly fast!
The price is extremely cheap and easy to pay for via PayPal (i’m looking forward to upgrading to more slots)
The website is professionally done, with easy access to client and server control panels from the home page!
As for the uptime, I have had a few problems, but its probably something to do with how I have configured the server, they help me around the clock with any problems I have!

well what can i say? first i orderd a US server by mistake and i wanted a EU one, so i contacted the support and they answerd within 15 mins and refunded me so i could place a new order, took after that just 1 hour to get server running not as at redstonehost.com where it took me over 6 hours just to get the server working and i still had issues with it crashing, no with daddycheese it went fast and is stable. big + daddycheese

I found daddycheese hosting while looking for a good host for a server. I bought the lowest level server and began to set it up. Two days after I signe before I contacted them. When I contacted them, their response was quite quick, and apparently a catastrophic hardware problem occurred (which also made me lose my world). I waited a few days and it came back up again, so I went to work configuring my server.
I was using bukkit, and had all my plugins working (tested on my own PC, which would be able to host except for the upload speed is too low.) I had now issues with slowness, so I uploaded all the plugins and configuration to the server. I tried logging into my server but there was a HUGE amount of lag and slowness.
Overall I would recommend daddycheese hosting, but I would not recommend buying the lower-end servers if you wish to go anywhere with it.

We chose this server because of the price, and we were amazed by what it was able to deliver for such a small fee! It’s ideal for us as we don’t play that frequently, but when we do we expect a reliable service. Keep in mind that our group spans a large area geographically (Italy and UK), yet we never experienced serious problems regarding lag. In my opinion the website could be organized a bit better and I can’t say I’m 100% convinced by the Multicraft Control Panel, but it’s more than enough for us and we never really had any problem with any of these things.

DaddyCheese has by far the best support that I’ve ever seen in a company — ever. While my server can lag occasionally, and I wish I would be able to upload my own craftbukkit.jar, if you contact them, chances are that they’ll help you. I’ve asked them for support with plugins, if they could fix my world, if they could restore my world, and more — they’ve said yes every single time! While the price seems to fluctuate, because it gets converted from GBP or GDP, it is a little higher than other companies, but I haven’t switched because I know I won’t get better support from them!

which means you can take your server wherever you want..
their support is awesome, they usually answer me if not the same day, then it’s been up to 3 days max(but that was when I asked some seriously hard questions, and I believe they actually were looking into it the whole time)
the servers are located all over the world which enables you to get the best ping wherever you are, and the servers has for me never had any big lag problems, and I’ve been testing with a lot of tnt

the only 2 times I’ve made it crash was when using “world edit” but then I really ballsed it up
I spawned 17000 “loose” torches in one place by mistake x) and that would crash any server, and the other time I spawned a giant ocean x) and then it has to simulate all the water “settling in”.. and to be honest that is something for the modders that created “world edit” to work on rather than the server 
but to be fair the ocean was there when I got the server back up after a 5 second reboot, so it was not a biggie
anyways, they are truly awesome

I needed a minecraft server for a few friends and I came across DaddyCheese and I’m glad I did. They have excellent servers, prices and support. I have had no problems at all while with them and 100% up time. They release regular emails updating you on the status of the hosting and if a new Bukkit version is available.

I had a short but good relation with this company. I only hosted a server for one and a half month (will finish this month) because of personal issues. Anyway, the service was really good.
I had very few issues with the server, as lack of MySQL database (needed for some plugins) and I was given one without any additional charge.
I even sent them a ticket explaining why I won’t renew the server (I said it, personal issues) and they answered me very gently and they set my server to not generate any more invoices.
The only I didn’t like, and they said me they were solving it, was the payment. Invoices are generated in British Pounds and the conversion in the webpage not always is the same as the Paypal one, for example.
In short: a good service with nice people working on it.

well let’s make it short:
- I had a 24 slot server with 1GB of ram for 2 months and never had any problem.
- Bukkit releases get updated almost instantly.
- Uptime is gold.
- Performance is excellent I had 12 plugins including ram hungry dynmap with big brother and still could hold 14 players without any lag (vanilla minecraft server runs great with 24 players)
- Support is really good specially “sales department” they solved my problems really fast.
what else can I say hmmm….
well I will wait for the final release of minecraft and will rent a server again! I really like their service and will be back for more soon.

DaddyCheese Hosting is probably the best hosting company I have ever seen, or rented from. Their support is near instantaneous, and is always very helpful. The one major problem I had (my server kept on crashing) was fixed within 20 minutes of me alerting them. Their prices are also excellent, with a decent server easily affordable, even for someone who earns very little. For instance, I started off at €11/month for a 1GB server, which I could have payed for years to come. The server i ran never had a problem with lag, even when full, and I had plugins installed!! All in all, thay have been a great hosted, with excellent servers, at an affordable price. I would definatly recommend it to a friend, and I hope to stay with them for a long time to come.

I took out a 24hr trial with DaddyCheese of a 1-6 player 256mb server and was very impressed, so much so that I have now taken up one of their subscription plans.

I am the owner of TheShadowCraft (mc.theshadowcraft.net) and I’ve been with many hosts including servercraft, minecrafton, and provisionhost, and I must say DaddyCheese is the one I’m set on.
Since they are not a superhuge operation like some of the ones I listed, their ticket response time is amazing. 80% of the time it’s in the first ten minutes, even though Im miles and miles away, in a different timezone. They are always kind and helpful, and they are quite patient as well at DC. I’ve never had a problem that they wernt able to fix, or compensate. Their uptime is also 100% as far as I’ve experiences so far

I have only used two hosting companies for Minecraft, so I can only really compare DC against one other group.
I can say, though, that their servers are faster, cheaper and more versatile (in terms of available server software, including several Bukkit builds). Their admin control panel (Multicraft) is the best, and they offer more than enough storage space to run several maps, and keep backups of each. I’ve never had problems with the DaddyCheese server so I haven’t needed to contact support, but the fact that their staff offered to set up plugins for me is very impressive.

Awhile ago I just wanted a small Minecraft server for my friends to play on with me, and I asked around for who would host one at a low price. I was bombarded with offers of “We’re worth the price because we’re reliable!” which wasn’t even what I asked. DaddyCheese was able to provide both great support, and a low price. I swapped to DaddyCheese from another host because I got tired of their incredibly slow and right out bad service. Now it feels like I’ve gone to Minecraft Heaven. The response time on support tickets went from about 5 days to about 5 minutes, and I now have full access to my server in every way. By far the best host for EU-based servers I’ve found. No lag, good support and great prices. I’ve recommended them to a few friends already and (although I’m not currently renting a server as I have no current need for one) I really doubt you could currently find anything better if you’re living in the UK.
As for their US servers, I can’t commend on them as of course I have no use for and thus haven’t tried one but I’d expect they’re just as good over there as they are here.

I used to be on some other serverhosting site, but I switched over shortly after because my server went down quite a bit, and I didn't like it.. but Daddycheese on the other hand has so far been great!
and it has never been down, they update their servers rapidly, and you get to choose what kind of jar file you want for running the server.. (like a bukkit one, and a regular server..)
they have a great customer service, and I've been told that they will add support for a lot of mods that currently isn't on bukkit and such, like the "planes" mod and several others!
I really love it!
and btw, what is also great is that you can also (between other options) choose to pay for three months at a time
which I find great, because then it doesn't leave a lot of small amount payments on your bankroll, but rather some normally looking amounts every third month 
I believe they use paypal to get paid(if I recall correctly
) but that is also great as paypal is quite secure, and you don't have to use other methods which are generally harder to do, and paypal seldom gives u errors and such 
other than that I find it a great site with a lot of customisation options.. and did I mention that you can use FTP to upload files..
wich basically means that if you use a program like "Cyberduck" as I am on mac I find it an easy solution, then you basically have a folder you can drag and drop files into, as you would if you were hosting the server yourself.. everything can be customized to your liking(except the .jar file ofc.. but that would probably make a lot of people suffer through a great deal of trouble ;P)
and also.. if you are planning to blow up a lot of tnt on your server, then this beast handles it like a charm xP
I made a giant moat around a big wall of ours, where we blew up the ground around it(it was a really giant wall) using tnt, and the server didn't have any problem tackling that kind of a massive explosion.. so I believe it is quite strong ;D

I am an administrator on The 4 Corners Server (IP: 46.105.116.114:25578. Previously, we were hosted by Brohoster, which for obvious reasons caused many problems. However after switching to Daddycheese, there is no lag. The overall multicraft panel has made administration and server maintenance much easier. The players on the server receive much faster help with any server issues due to the fact that Daddycheese owner will hop on the server and personally take a look when an issue. This server host is extremely user friendly, and provides a great experience for both players and administrators.

i moved from another host due to ram issues and lag to daddycheese
since signing up ive experienced no lag no ram issues and been able to enjoy the game with my friends
there servers are very reasonably priced with great amount of ram which is very good when you haven’t got alot of money
i have there Minecraft EU Server Four and its perfect for me and my friends
any ticket i have sent in has been answered clearly and professionally any problem i have come across has been quickly dealt with and if something does go wrong or if any changes are made they keep you informed via e-mail
all in all im very pleased with daddycheese and will continue to rent off them

I highly recommend DaddyCheese for hosting your Minecraft server.
I’ve had servers with BeastNode, RedstoneHost, SolicitGaming, VeeServers, and I’ve also hosted a server from another VPS provider. DaddyCheese is the best host I’ve had so far!
The price and support is amazing. They inform you of everything that they are doing.
I’ve had all my player slots full with plugins and multiple worlds with no complaints of lag, I couldn’t ask for more!
I’ve rated everything at 5/5 diamonds as I have had no problems at all and I’ve had the server for 2 months now.

I have been with DaddyCheese for nearly two months now and have an amazing experience.
Firstly when I ordered my server it was setup instantly, by the time I had left the paypal page and returned to the DaddyCheese website, I already had an email with my login info and server address! Performance of my server has been amazing I have never had any downtime that I wasn’t told about. I did have a couple of plugin issues that were my fault and Marc at DaddyCheese was very helpful and had a look at my configuration files and fixed them. I also receive regular emails from DaddyCheese keeping me up to date with upgrades and promotions. I have tried two other hosts before,a VPS and normal and nothing compares to this. I wasnt sure about the multicraft control panel at first as I was used to McMyAdmin; however I must say it is extremely powerful and allows you to do a great deal with your server, I love the console and schedule tasks facility! The only issue I can say I have with DaddyCheese is their website is not the prettiest; however I sent them a ticket offering to help them with it and they said they are already in the process of getting it redesigned and it will be released soon, so hopefully it will look better!

These people are the best. For first off they are some of the nicest people to talk to and give you a response in about 2-5 minutes of you asking them a question. Next is the price. There is no where better for that. I spent days looking for something better and no luck in finding one. If you want a small – medium server don’t go anywhere else. Using the Multicraft server hosting was simple no hassle just did what you asked it to. So all in all i am extremely happy with the service and the performance of this hosting company.

Okay, so let’s start off with Daddycheese’s server performance.
- I’ve run Bukkit with many high-end plugins and never was there a site of lag.
When they say they do not oversell, they mean it. I was always able to get the full use of my 1GB of ram. Even though their server was located in Paris, and I’m in Australia, I never once experienced latency issues.
Uptime.
Server has never been down. Only one time did their servers go offline due to the new version of bukkit (1060 i think) was buggy and untested. Even so, this was not their fault. They quickly prompted all of their clients to explain was there was downtime.
Price.
Seriously, epic. Dirt cheap prices and YOU GET what YOU PAY for! ie server hardware. Nuff said.
Support.
Brilliant. When ever I had an concern, I opened a support ticket to receive an answer (on average) in half an hour! They were also very nice, and for a change, new how to speak English (that’s always a huge benfit)
Overall, I recommend for a great MC server experience, choose daddycheese.

I believe DaddyCheese Hosting is really the best hosting out there! I scavenged through the Internet looking for what i thought to be the best hosting out there when i found DaddyCheese, I was happy to see a non-ridiculous price for hosting. Then after purchasing from them I was glad to see they had even came onto the server to make sure I was happy or needed any help. I was looking for a minecraft server host for awhile and seeing Daddycheese had some good reviews and a moneyback guarantee I thought it would be worth trying. I bought the minimum package, not expecting much for me and my two friends, and the server has been a charm and never failed us. I don’t have a single complaint as the server is always reliable and uptime is kept to a maximum. I receive regular e-mails about goings on and maintenance (which is brilliant) and no irrelevant mail. The price cannot be beaten. DaddyCheese also stands out among all the other European servers as it is great value for money. The support was excellent and they dealt with my problem almost immediately, which was quickly solved. Finally, the multicraft control panel comes free, easily explaining how to do what you want, which is great for novices like me and made the whole process much easier. DaddyCheese has definitely provided everything I needed and more.

Was browsing on minecraft forum for a new server host as I was fed up of my old host which was expensive, had low support, and FTP access was non existent.
Daddycheese offer an extremely high level of, fast, effective and friendly support staff. I came across not being able to add myself to Essentials Permissions, so I sent in a support ticket, within a matter of 2-5 minutes, I got a reply, the guy knew instantly what I was on about and even joined the server to help resolve the problem which he resolved instantly. When he left I typed in game chat how I thought that was badass support stuff, to which he replied in console. The attention to detail on the support is simply outstanding.
The server was up and running within 5 minutes of purchase, lag was and always has been non existent, and you really feel the level of care when a server announcement is made globally that a restart for maintenance is about to occur and will be back up shortly. It’s safe to say it comes back up in seconds.
I am VERY happy with my level of service and the value is amazing, if not the best, especially for what you get.
Recommend to anyone who is looking for a great value 5* host!

Ok so this hard customer of them is going to tell his story:
I started by asking them using a ticket if they had test server to test the delay.. So I thought I was going to get a server to just play on with Minecraft.. And I got a 1 day test server with FTP acces and Multicraft acces for me! There was also something wrong with their Billing system but not on their side! So just gave me an extra day test server. They also install Spout on the server you’re on (spout is a plugin for bukkit where it runs faster and smoother). Also when you report something (send a ticket) you will get a notice if you sent a confirmation mail which you don’t need because they respond in 5min (no joke). If you want to set up MySQL or SQLite they do it for you and you can edit your binaries right away using PhpMyAdmin, they also check if everything works using Minecraft itself! You can also make scheduled tasks using Multicraft, I do a a backup each 6h and a restart on midnight, yesterday it didn’t work the way I wanted.. Ticket… Confirmation… Done! ;D You can have up to 3 backups which you can download anytime you want! And the only downtime I had in more then a week was when the servers of Mojang didn’t work or something, this server provider is really amazing! 5.7€ for 1 month 512MB!!! OMG! You find that NOWHERE! They also explained to me on how to link my mc.crankworld.tk to the server! Amazing people! *cannot find the infinity symbol*/5

This is hands down the best hosting I have ever had for any game ever. The prices are unmatched for minecraft hosting. I have opened support tickets two seperate time and received replies within 20 minutes both times, and they were both at low urgency. I have never had support that responded that quick. Mike is freaking awesome. I could not figure out how to load up my world and they were even nice enough to do it for me. I own the cheapest possible server and I am still treated like a valuable customer.

Let me just get it out of the way that, I have been with over 8 hosts since the past two years of hosting a popular Minecraft server with a few thousand players, and I have to say, DaddyCheese is the overall best I’ve had!
First of all, DaddyCheese, just the name tells you it’s the best you can find.
They have the most amazing prices I have ever seen, so I was hesitant at first… “Hmm, how could they afford to be so cheap?” Well, I decided to give it a go and order my 8GB Minecraft server since after all, they did have 10 day refund guaranteed. So, I placed my order and closed my browser. 5 minutes later I get an email saying my server has been set up and is ready to go! Already, I’m amazed at the speed. Now I log in to the DaddyCheese control panel, expecting something basic and empty. What I find is amazing, it has all features you need right there! Backups, Chat, Console, in browser file editing/ftp and more! You can even set up scheduled tasks to auto run at set times!
Now on to the actual server, I logged in, and had no lag whatsoever. I invited a few of my admins from around the world (America, England, Sweden etc.) Not a single one of them had the slightest bit of lag. So from here, we went on installing plugins and building our spawn. We now have about 30-40 plugins, 8 players online, and are half done with our spawn. And there is still not a single bit of lag.
DaddyCheese gives you what they say they give you, and for the best price you can find! If you’re looking for a host, DaddyCheese is your answer!

This review is based on the 2 weeks I’ve been with DaddyCheese. I’d just like to say that the reason i went with DaddyCheese was because i had bought a server with another company, which was taking so long to set up. I bought a DaddyCheese package and was set up instantly.
Support – Well, for me this is where DaddyCheese shines. Their support is amazing. They go far beyond helping you with your server. I’ve had help with other areas too such as help setting up A Records with my domain hosts. Response times are brilliant and any problems are dealt with very quickly.
Features – Packed full of features. I can run my server from right within the browser. All FTP is dealt with in the browser too which is a bonus. Access to a console in the browser also is very useful.
Performance – The performance of our server is great. We experience no lag, and the downtime is non existant.
Price – Another reason i went with DaddyCheese, they were one of the cheapest i could find, and definitely best price for what you get in return.
Website – Very professional and easy to navigate. Couldn’t ask for more.
Uptime – 100% so far. Hopefully this continues, and I’m sure it will.

I was looking for an affordable but well managed server host for my minecraft, after doing allot of searching around i came accross this one, the prices was to say the least impressive. If you are just starting out then the starter price is simply unbeatable (in this writers opinion of course).
Setup went quickly and smoothly i got a couple of emails and was ready to go.
The server works great, only had a couple of issues but that wasnt daddycheese fault and to their credit even though it wasnt their issue they sent out notifications to everyone about it without being prompted.
The server software takes a bit of getting used to but it is super easy to take a backup of your world.
Customer service, great, you have to raise tickets but they respond swiftly and are extremely helpfull.
All in all i would recomend this service, its great that its mostly automated but you can get human help when you need it, the price is great.

After deciding me and my friends needed a Minecraft server to play around on, I started looking for providers on this very website.
I understand why DaddyCheese isn’t number 1 (greater demand for servers in the US.), but in my opinion DC deserves to be at least number 2 of the top providers. It’s incredibly cheap, and right about everything’s good about it.
I’ve only had a problem once, and within minutes of my support ticket they responded. Quickly we worked out it was a global problem (the auth servers were down), and they sent a message out to inform their customers of the problem.
The only reason “Features” didn’t get 5 diamonds is simple:
The panel is a little weird. Might be a little hard to work your way around, if you haven’t been near a server before, too. But ultimately it simply annoys me that the control panel already have certain groups set up – and they don’t work. Maybe I’m the one doing it wrong, and it isn’t a big deal, but nevertheless it’s a tad annoying.
Performance has been great. We haven’t had many players on (maximum 5 or 6), but it’s NEVER seemed to lag the slightest.
Price, of course, was absolutely fenomenal. Nothing more to say. It’s incredibly cheap, starting at around 5 dollars.
Website layout is awesome, except for the way you view the servers you’re able to order. It’s a little messy that they’re ‘on top’ of each other.
We’ve only experienced downtime when the Minecraft authentication servers were down. And that’s not really downtime anyways, so..
Anyhow: awesome provider. I almost chose someone else, but now I’m glad I didn’t. Can highly recommend it.

At first I was very hesitant of getting a Minecraft server, as I didn’t want to have to spend lots of time setting things up. My goal was to look for a hosting company that managed alot of it for me, as well as give a good price.
I looked at a lot of Minecraft hosting companies, and DaddyCheese came top for me for a lot of reasons, here are a few of them…
- Price: It was by far the best for what I required.
- Secure: Signup was simple and secure (can use PayPal).
- Access: Soon as you signup, you have instant access to your server.
- FTP: Access for uploading mods if you wish
- Control: Simple control panel to interface with the server
- Backup: Can generate a backup of your world at anytime.
- Wrappers: Can select from a few different server wrappers (default, bukkit etc).
What I like alot though is their support. As soon as I logged into my server a support rep. joined and helped me out getting a few things setup (access permissions from the control panel).
Uptime has be great, and when it has gone down (once since I have been with them), they have been quick to email customers to provide information on the issue.
I don’t usually write reviews, but in this case I think they deserve it.
I highly recommend them.

While I’m residing in Japan, the server set up was quite friendly and easy to access. It seems to be consistently up and the price isn’t bad either! I’m having some trouble with Bukkit plug-ins, but that may just be temporary. Good server company.

DaddyCheese is one of the few hosting services that deliver exellent support! I had 2 problems with the server and they got solved in less than half an hour after I posted my Ticket!
The price for the server is very cheap but the hardware isn’t cheap! Our former hosting service was more expensive than DaddyCheese and the Support wasn’t good, at all!
I’m glad that I deciced to host my MineCraft Server with them!
The panel is very nice, you can access the FTP and almost everything you want with the MultiCraft panel, I like it very much!
Anyways, my vote goes to DaddyCheese hosting! Thank you for your great Support, Prices and ofcoure the Server!

After signing up for another hosting service and having a bad experience after 2 days I moved over to DaddyCheese. The setup was instant and very easy (the other took hours to complete). I placed one support ticket with them and it was responded to and resolved in minutes (not hours). the performance of the administration website leaves something to be desired, however the performance of the game when logging in and playing is exceptional. I vote daddycheese as one of the best hosts I have ever had. The prices are very good for the amount of slots you get. If you need any help the staff will complete it if they’re available or within 24 hours. The panel is very good and has a built in ftp server so you can edit your files in the browser and upload them instantly. I would recommend this host to everyone.

DaddyCheese isn’t another knock-off server hoster that is out there to suck your money dry on restrictive tariffs. In fact, lets take a look at just how awesome the bang for the buck is with Daddycheese:
Currently DC is ranked number 3 in minecraft hosters. Upon closer inspection we see that the other two competitors have many positive reviews. When we do a little bit more research on the prices we can see where things become unattractive.
My main goal is to host a decently small minecraft server at around 10 people or so. I want to have stability, no lag, a high up time and good support.
1. Global7Hosting
– For the package that i’m looking for i’ll need about 1 GB of ram to maintain all my plugins and keep the server smooth. Instantly we can see that G7′s prices are a turn off.
1080mb, <50 slots = £21.72 per month.
For £21.72 that is enough for me to go buy a few cinema tickets, or have a premium gym membership at my local gym. That's too much for me to host a server that I most likely won't get much out of.
2. PigSaddle
-Seems to be quite a popular one for being a bit cheaper but still I can't understand why.
Looking at the prices we can get 512 mb, 5-10 players for £10 a month. Also, 1024 mb, 10-20 players for £17.50.
Again, cheaper than Global7 but I still need something better.
3. DaddyCheese
-This is where the tariffs really shine. Not only does DC provide values servers starting from under £3 (wow!) they also do premium ones for slightly higher. The package I managed to rake up from DC was 1gb, 1-24 players for £9.98 a month.

Conclusion: I also tried out and took a look at other various providers including ones in foreign languages. They all fell short in some category that made the service frustrating. I've yet to see that with DC and can whole-heartedly recommend both of my thumbs up for DC as a server provider.

I have recently purchased a server with DaddyCheese Hosting as I was unsatisfied with the support, features and general service of my last provider.

This is the best hosting I’ve had. The support is great and the control panel is easy. It took staff 11 mins to respond to my normal urgency ticket, that to me is great. The price is pretty awesome as well! The plan I’m using only cost $16/m and It’s proven great so far for my private server. I recommend DaddyCheese to anyone!

Where to start.. These guys are great. I’ve had 100% support from these guys and much help from them. The servers them self go for a great price and they have outstanding performance with little to no lag at all. I’ve went through 3 Host, and all of them I’ve had problems with but not DaddyCheese. We are very satisfied about Daddycheese. We had 756MB the first time we bought it. It was very cheap for that ammount of RAM. But we use many plugins, so Daddycheese suggested us to take more RAM. And yes, it worked perfect. We had some trouble and we made a ticket to Daddycheese. Someone from daddycheese came in our server and came to check what the problem was. He ran a special log to check out what it was. But he wasn’t able to find something but the crash seems to be gone. We gave the guy of Daddycheese a tour in our server, and we asked some questions. Very cool guy!
So our conclusion is that we have a perfect server for a good price. Why pay more? Just go to daddycheese

I have just recently contacted and set up my server with DaddyCheese after being with another company. I moved because of the expensive price I was paying and the amazingly low price DaddyCheese had to offer. I though, considering the lower prices something must be left out, but I was wrong! The server was instantly set up and the prices are some of the best I have seen! What’s more, the customer support is absolutely amazing! And I mean that! They were there straight away, live, to help me with my queries and as a customer they make you feel like you really do count; friendly would be an understatement. I hope to upgrade my server in the upcoming week as the quality, with near 100 % uptime and no lag, leads me to want to expand my server, with their cheap prices, I can also now afford to! I run a server for around 10 friends and studied a lot of different hosts before I decided to try DaddyCheese Hosting. In the beginning the server kicked all players out at the same time on a couple of occasions but that has stopped now. The server has some slight lag at times, but nothing game-breaking. The support is absolutely amazing in quality, some of the best I’ve ever seen in any internet services. I whole-heartedly recommend this service to anyone who’s looking for a host for their multiplayer Minecraft experience.

I have tried many other host (cheap ones, and one quite expencive)
Daddys cheese is 100% time better than those other hosting providers.
There is good support, they help with plugins if you got problems, they are very friendly
and they have very good hardware for a such low price!
In my server there is no lag (no chat delay etc.)
So if you are looking very good host that is same time very very cheap i recommend 101% daddys cheece for you!

DaddyCheese support is by far the best I have ever seen, they are always friendly, always helpful, and will not stop until they have fully fulfilled what you wanted. I am currently experiencing a little problem with my server and my mc panel, and there is a very very very slight lag, but the price definately makes up for it. I would recomend it to everyone who wants a cheap, but never the less awesome minecraft server

Also, if I have any problem when installing a plugin or setting up a database, I can be sure I can rely on them. About the control panel, it’s full with options to customize your server with a few clicks, plus it has FTP access to quickly upload plugins or maps, and even a real time console which is pretty useful.

I vote daddycheese as the best host I have ever had. The prices are very good for the amount of slots you get. If you need any help the staff will complete it if they’re available or within 24 hours. The panel is very good and has a built in ftp server so you can edit your files in the browser and upload them instantly. I would recommend this host to everyone.

I think the real diamond of DaddyCheese is the support. Always ready and often instantaneous. For a low (very low) price, you get a FULL-Optional server, and the best of support you can have while playing on it. Performance are the best i have found on a server. Ping is 13 ms!!! A ROCKET. Startup script takes 1,7 seconds.
Shame about the panel, that is in some way difficult to handle, for newbies.
The only feature that i miss is the way to change the startup script.
Anyway, i recommend it!!!
